Introduction to Nexus
We’re Nexus, a PR and marketing agency based in London, working with lifestyle, food and drink brands. We believe everything is an opportunity to EARN IT. from new product launches to the big campaign, whether it’s through public relations, social, creative, advertising, experience, or influencers.

Nexus’ Key Services
Nexus work with some of the UK and London’s leading food, drink and lifestyle brands to deliver 360-degree PR strategies across trade media, consumer news, business titles, digital media, podcasts, influencers, social, national and international broadcast platforms. Underpinning our PR approach are two core drivers – relevance and originality; we call this EARN IT. thinking. Our EARN IT. strategies shift attitudes, change behaviours and do good. We inspire journalists to write, influencers to post and customers and colleagues to share.

Good media relations drives discovery, SEO authority and deeper emotional relationships with decision makers and consumers through brand building. The power of endorsement from a trusted third party can have game changing significance. We’ve built brands like Meatless Farm from a pack to a powerhouse in the plant-based category using our 360 EARN IT. methodology.
However, public relations is bigger than media relations, it is a way of thinking that aims to drive conversation about your brand and make it relevant to culture. Our 360-degree approach to earned media means that we look to explode ideas and initiatives across several channels – from influencers, brand ambassadors, impact advertising, experiential activations and brand partnerships.

Case Studies: Nexus PR in action in London

Don’t melt David
Nexus was briefed to dramatize the issue of climate change through creativity not painful worthiness.
We worked with experts to calculate the amount of ice an average UK consumer melts in two weeks. This amount of ice was used to create a giant ice bust of Sir David Attenborough at London’s Southbank and to mark the launch of Tenzing’s sustainability initiative, Take Action. This delivered the national picture story for print, online and broadcast.
Our “Don’t melt David” activation for Tenzing natural energy drink cut through across nationals and trade, even aiding the brand in securing a long-desired listing with Waitrose.

Get your G.O.A.T on
We developed and launched “Get your G.O.A.T on”, a campaign designed to drive social currency and news for Bumbu rum in the UK. To celebrate “being your own G.O.A.T” we opened a pop-up tattoo parlour at renowned Femme Fatale in East London offering free Bumbu-inspired tattoos to its most devoted UK fans by celebrity tattoo artist and TV star Grace Neutral.
The event was hosted by credible and influencer London-based DJs including DJ Sian (BBC 1Xtra) and DJ Henriie (Kiss FM), with the Bumbu portfolio served in shots and cocktails.
To support the campaign, we secured a stream of national coverage through an always-on press office and implemented a creative influencer strategy to turn relevant creators into our advocates. The campaign earned 183m reach and 43 media articles across key national and London-based media titles and achieved a 3m social reach across leading drink and lifestyle influencers across the campaign.
